  Anneke Ruys is a professional photo-journalist from The Hague, Holland. Since 1989 she specialized in pop-photography (live-concerts). She receives her assignments from different newspapers, magazines and websites among others Sp!ts, Summertime, Kidsweek, Kids Junior, Pauze, Planet Internet, Kids Planet, and HebbeZ! "My first love is music and my second is travelling. I succeeded in making a combination between the two in my photography. Every picture tells a story and that is a feeling that I would like to get across in the photography that I do. Happiness, sadness, depth, emotions....that is what I would like to tell through my pictures. I hope that everyone can enjoy that with me....
 My articles and stories. Many pictures need an extra story to complete the magic. That is why I started a second career as a journalist/reporter. I write articles, stories, reviews, interviews and everything where I can use my creativity. My specialties are music, travel, lifestyle and articles for kids and young people, but also commercial writings and texts for websites. Every new assignment means a new challenge for me. In my eight year career as a journalist I had the chance to present the microphone to many famous people, among others: Janet Jackson, Shakira, Destiny's Child, Tori Amos, Melissa Etheridge, Pink, Julio and Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Jewel, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Donna Summer, Roger Daltrey, and many others. In my interviews I always look for the person behind the artist".

Mijn artikelen en verhalen. Veel foto's hebben een extra verhaal nodig om de magie compleet te maken. Daarom begon ik een tweede carrière als journalist/tekstschrijver. Ik schrijf artikelen, verhalen, recensies, interviews en alles waarin ik mijn creativiteit kwijt kan. Mijn specialiteiten zijn muziek, reizen, lifestyle en artikelen voor jongeren, maar ook reclameteksten. Iedere nieuwe opdracht betekent een uitdaging voor mij. In mijn achtjarige carrière als journalist heb ik de kans gehad om vele beroemdheden voor de microfoon te krijgen, onder wie: Janet Jackson, Shakira, Destiny's Child, Tori Amos, Melissa Etheridge, Pink, Julio and Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Jewel, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Donna Summer, Roger Daltrey, en vele anderen.
